Enquiries and consultations
Sending an enquiry, requesting a callback or booking a consultation does not by itself appoint us to act for you or oblige us to accept an assignment. A free consultation lasts 30 minutes and carries no consultation fee or obligation to purchase a service. Any guidance during that conversation is limited to the information available and the scope discussed; it does not include a complete document review or continuing responsibility unless separately agreed.
We may need further information and conflict checks before accepting work. Do not assume that we are monitoring a filing, limitation period, hearing or other deadline unless we have expressly accepted responsibility for it. Scope, fees and paid work
Before paid work begins, we will agree its scope, fees and expected timetable with you. The proposal will identify applicable taxes, government charges and third-party expenses, including any amounts that cannot yet be confirmed. Additional work or material changes in scope require agreement before we proceed. Separate engagement terms govern the assignment and prevail over these Website Terms if there is a conflict concerning that assignment.
Time estimates depend on the information supplied and, where relevant, authorities, counterparties and other professionals. We do not guarantee registrations, approvals, funding, recovery of money or the outcome of proceedings.
Coordinated specialist support
Where your request requires another professional, we may help identify and coordinate appropriate support. Before you commit, we will explain who will undertake the work, the proposed scope, charges and engagement arrangements. Introducing or coordinating a specialist does not mean every service or third-party expense is included in an existing fee. Responsibility for the work will be addressed in the applicable engagement terms.
Information you provide
Please provide accurate contact details and information that you are entitled to share. Use initial enquiries to give a brief overview. Do not submit passwords, financial credentials, identity documents or detailed confidential material through a general enquiry form. We will discuss an appropriate way to receive documents when needed. Merely submitting information does not establish that a communication attracts professional privilege.
Acceptable use
