About this notice

Corpernicus Advisory ("we", "us" and "our") uses personal information to respond to enquiries, arrange consultations and operate this website. This notice covers visitors and people who contact us through the website. An accepted assignment may involve additional information and arrangements explained separately.

Information we collect

When you contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address or telephone number, company name, a brief description of your request and related correspondence. When booking is available, we also collect the appointment details needed to arrange it, including the selected time and time zone.

The website and its service providers may process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as IP address, browser and device information, request times and error or security logs. Essential browser storage may remember your website acknowledgement or support authorised administrator sign-in. We do not ask visitors to create customer accounts.

Please limit initial enquiries to the information needed to explain your request. Do not include passwords, payment credentials or unnecessary personal information about yourself or others. If you supply another person's information, make sure you are entitled to do so.

How we use information

We use enquiry information to respond to your request, assess whether we can assist, check for conflicts where appropriate, and discuss the next steps. We use appointment information to arrange, confirm, change or cancel consultations. We use related correspondence to maintain continuity and resolve questions about our communications.

We use technical information to provide the website, diagnose faults, prevent misuse and protect access. We may also retain or disclose information when needed to meet applicable obligations or establish, exercise or defend claims.

Contacting us does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell your personal information or use your enquiry for unsolicited sales calls. Communications needed to answer your enquiry or manage an appointment are separate from marketing. If you ask us to stop following up on an enquiry, we will respect that request, subject to necessary administrative or lawful recordkeeping requirements.

Who receives information

Access is limited to people who need the information for the purposes described here. Service providers supporting website hosting, data storage, appointments, communications and security may process relevant information on our behalf under appropriate arrangements.

If a specialist is needed, we will discuss the proposed referral with you before sharing identifiable details of your matter for that purpose, unless disclosure is otherwise required by law. We may disclose information to authorities or advisers where required by law or reasonably necessary to handle a claim or protect rights.

If you choose to use an external website or service, its own notice may also apply. We will identify external booking services at the point of use.

Processing locations

Depending on the providers used, information may be stored or processed in India or other countries. We will apply the safeguards and restrictions required by applicable law. You may contact us for information about the providers and locations relevant to your enquiry.

Retention and security

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for its stated purpose, applicable recordkeeping obligations and the handling of disputes. We review information that is no longer needed for deletion or anonymisation. If an enquiry becomes an engagement, relevant information may form part of the engagement record. Backups may retain copies for a limited further period under the applicable backup cycle.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including access restrictions appropriate to the information involved. No internet service is completely secure. Please notify us if you suspect misuse of information shared with us.

Your choices and requests

You may contact us to ask about the information we hold about you, request correction or deletion, withdraw permission for a use based on your consent, or raise a privacy concern. Where applicable law provides further rights, you may exercise those rights as well. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out, and may mean we cannot continue the requested service. Some records may need to be retained for lawful reasons.

We may request proportionate information to verify your identity before acting. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain any lawful reason why a request cannot be fully fulfilled. You may use the applicable statutory complaint mechanisms where available.

Use the published contact details on this website and identify your message as a "Privacy request". You do not need to book a consultation or pay a fee merely to raise a privacy concern.

Children

This website is intended for adults acting in a business or professional capacity. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has supplied information, please contact us so we can assess and address it.

Changes

We may revise this notice when our website or information-handling practices change. The published version will show its last-updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before using information for a new purpose.

Consultation booking services

We use Calendly to display appointment availability and arrange consultations. When you open the booking calendar or its direct link, Calendly receives information needed to provide its booking page, including technical browser and device information. When you book, the details you enter, such as your name, email address, selected appointment and any answers to booking questions, are processed through Calendly to arrange and manage the consultation.

Google Calendar is connected for scheduling, calendar invitations and availability checks, and Google Meet is used for online consultations. Relevant appointment details are processed by these services to create and manage the calendar event and meeting link. Calendly handles booking confirmations and appointment changes. Website callback requests are a separate feature and are not appointments.

Calendly and Google also have their own privacy information and service terms. Calendly may use cookies and similar technologies on its booking pages; use the cookie controls it provides to manage optional choices. The website disclaimer acknowledgement is not consent to Calendly’s optional cookies or to marketing. The booking calendar loads only on the consultation page, after the website acknowledgement.
